Finding a CHURCH HOME!

CHURCH!!!! I have made it a top priority to find a church home this year. I have been living in Atlanta for the past 3 1/2 years and I have yet to find a church to call home. I am pretty sure it has a lot to do with the fact that I haven't visited many but to be honest, I am really afraid to committing when I have doubts. As a child, I did not grow up in a church but GOD was prevalent in my home. We were taught to pray, read the bible and BELIEVE but going to church was not something we did. My daddy was not fond on church because of some things he experienced while growing up, so with that bad taste in his mouth, we prayed at BEDSIDE BAPTIST! It wasn't until I was an adult that I wanted to start experiencing religion on a different level.  I found a church (Koinonia Worship Center,  West Park, Fl) that I really LOVED  and attended until I moved here. So now I find myself back on the journey of finding a place to call home.  I welcome all suggestions and invitations on visiting different church homes because when 2012 rings in I will be celebrating with my new church family!

Happy Sunday to you all!!!!!!

  3. It's so funny that I came across this post because one of my New Year's Resolutions is to find a home church. We moved to Jersey a few years ago and although we have visited many churches in our area we have yet to find the one we feel we could call home. It is a big decision but I believe when you find the right church there will be no doubt about it.

I enjoyed reading your blog. If you have a chance visit me at http://nikki-lovingmeunconditionally.blogspot.com/ let's inspire each other!
